Distance = Rate x Time

Part 1 of his trip:
D1 = R1 x T1
D1 = 3 & 1/3 hours * 24 km/h
D1 = 80 km

Part 2 of his trip:
D2 = R2 x T2
D2 = 1 & 1/6 hours * 12 km/h (Note, 10 minutes = 1/6 of an hour)
